DISC personality profiling
What is DISC personality profiling?
DISC personality profiling is a robust, standardised assessment process that helps you better understand your motivations, communication preferences, concerns and the ways you like to receive and process information.
The principle of DISC modelling is that everyone’s personality and behavioural style falls into four quadrants:
- Dominance (green)
- Influence (red)
- Steadiness (blue)
- Conscientiousness (yellow)
Individuals are either outgoing or reserved, and are either people or task orientated. Some people have a pure D, I, S or C personality trait whilst many others have blends of two or more traits.
How does it work?
The assessment process is simple and confidential. When you buy a DISC assessment we’ll send you a link to complete an online survey using a private log in. As soon as you have completed the questionnaire you’ll receive a comprehensive PDF report to download.
Many practices find great value in offering DISC profiling to new starters, whilst others use DISC profiling across leadership teams to ensure a broad spread of styles, and help managers with contrasting styles understand each other and work together effectively.
What do I get?
Your bespoke DISC report contains a huge amount of information that will help you understand where your strengths lie, identify things you may find challenging and give insight into your communication preferences, decision-making style and ability to cope with change and conflict. Once you understand your own personality, you can spot and avoid potential clashes with others who may have different preferences and approaches.
