What is Team Track?
Understanding why team members wish to join you and want to leave you is the biggest single priority for a veterinary practice today. For this reason, team engagement and understanding the reality of the team experience is an essential Key Performance Indicator for every practice.
Onswitch’s TeamTrack survey collects detailed anonymised feedback from your team, highlighting issues and opportunities and measuring veterinary team wellbeing and communication. Undertaking a team survey, sharing the results and involving everyone in shaping solutions shows everyone that their views matter, driving up engagement and improving retention.
How does it work?
You will be sent a link to share with your team for the TeamTrack survey hosted online. We recommend that the link is kept open for three weeks. Each TeamTrack survey contains four elements:
- Twelve questions inspired by the Gallup Q12 survey. The wording and order of the twelve questions return the most accurate measurement of employee engagement, and ensure data is always robust and comparable over time.
- Three words. We ask the team to give us three words that best describe how they feel about how the practice cares for clients and patients, how it approaches medicine, and how they would describe the workplace to friends and professional colleagues.
- Start / Stop, Do more / Do less. Team members are asked a number of questions about what they would change about the practice, collecting detailed suggestions but also highlighting where there are common threads mentioned by many. This makes it easier for managers and team leaders to prioritise actions.
- TX Score. The Team Experience Score, is based on the internationally recognised Net Promoter Score. The team are asked how likely they are to recommend their workplace as a great place to work to their professional colleagues, producing a final percentage TX score that can be tracked over time and compared against national data.
What do I get?
Once the survey link has been closed, we analyse all the feedback and summarise resulting recommendations into actions to be taken Now, Soon and Later. Your comprehensive report, evidencing veterinary team wellbeing, is with you within two weeks. Its findings and recommendations will improve your Team Experience (TX) and help you work towards creating a strong employer brand.
