What is a business health check?

As vets, you regularly tell owners of the importance of an annual health check as a route to monitor general health and identify any issues early on. The same premise applies to any business, but how often do you take a thorough look at all the systems and moving parts that make up your practice? Through a business health check we take the history, examine and diagnose then recommend a treatment plan. And because we’re impartial, you can trust us to be honest about what we find, good or not-so-good.

Onswitch’s business health check is a proven driver of growth, providing a professional, unbiased assessment of your business through analysis of Key Performance Indicator data. It will help you stay ahead of the game, identifying any developing issues early so that they can be addressed before complacency and under performance set in.

How does it work?

Each business health check is structured according to the principles of the Balanced Scorecard, which helps set priorities and focus effort on the business parameters that really matter. We undertake a wide range of desk research, data analysis and quantitative data collection across each of four areas:

    • Review of Profit and Loss statement for the last 12 months

What do I get?

The veterinary business consultancy process is in-depth and extensive and so you should expect to receive your report 10-12 weeks after commissioning. Each business health check costs £5,000 +VAT, reflecting the volume of data collected and analysed, and the detailed reporting and recommendations involved. This can be paid in thee equal invoices if required.
